Forum sponsor, BAS, can do it, although it does require the physical presence of the ECU.
The 2.2 engine in the Jag isn't the same as the one in the Defender. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

Yes I have had it done and am very impressed with the improvement, particularly when towing.
Buy one of these, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251303880806 Get your dealer to code it to your alarm and key, post it to Bell Auto Services and Pete will sort it out for you. See this thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic18631.html HTH |

I have a remap done at Alive Tuning.
Some 185 hp and 458 nm of torque. Drives great and pulls very well in all gears. I believe they have a dealer in Australia. |

Hi mike.
Send me a pm and we can chat about the process or how the tuning could be done remotely for you etc Maintaining reliability and to hope for normal economy as well as taking carefully into consideration all of the cars standard components like the turbo max flow rate and build design capacity, injector capacity as well as things like inlet tempratures and the wide range of fuel qualitys available just to mention a few. 170bhp and 450nm is really where the standard engine should be to maintain where possible the optimum reliability. However that said with a few more modifications a hybrid turbo along side an intercooler and a few simple mods much more is possible as seen below Regards Pete Click image to enlarge Last edited by bell-auto-services on 19th Dec 2013 7:27pm. Your welcome Mike.
The turbo is listed here on our site, it is only a direct exchange at the moment due to core shortage but you could still bring yours with you for a direct swap. http://bellautoservices.co.uk/store/defend...bmenuid=56 The current offered power level is a reliable 190bhp & 500Nm with a wide torque delivery and very drivable power range though once finished with development similar to what's above may be available. Hi Pete,
When will the MPF option be available for the 2.2? Will the ECU still require a bench unlock using this new option? Kind regards Matt 90 & Wolf 110 XS Previously owned SI SII SIIa SIII & Light weight (air portable) |

The MPF is an OBD flasher so the ecu will still require work to it before flashing via OBD. At the moment their is no total OBD solution available without prior ecu work done first.

Am I right in thinking that if the new hybrid turbo is fitted. You would also need an upsized intercooler as well .
Is this also going to be available to be fitted at the same time? |
