In all my years of motoring I have only had to fit a spare twice, once not for a puncture but a steel belt failure. Windscreens on the other hand that's a different matter. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Kiss of death! Day after posting the above yet another windscreen gone! Will be my third replacement! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Well hopefully our quota of aircraft related events is filled for 2014. Plane had not even arrived by time we were due to depart. Nothing unusual about delayed departures. Plane aborted landing at KL after flaps extended/wheels down due to a tropical rain storm. Into holding pattern and then divert to JB for refuelling before returning to KL. Once at Leeds/Bradford it took 3 attempts to land that particular plane. Had trainee pilot that day First attempt at take off from JB was aborted for some reason. First time for that for us. So hopefully we have fulfilled our quota for punctures and airplane mishaps for 2014 Brendan |
