On my garage door the tracks are steel but the door has a canvas type strip where it fits in the channel. In the bumph that came with it, it says not to use oil or grease but instead use furniture polish
I give mine a good squirt with pledge once a year and that seems to work fine . Also if you use the lemon variety it smells nice too Paul 2000 90 TD5,galv chassis, d2 axles ,Bas remap , alisport intercooler , d2 transfer box , side windows-more to come-much more!! *GONE* 2004 110 TD5 Double cab. *GONE* 2010 110 2.4 XS station wagon |

Use silicon spray because oil, grease or WD40 will just attract more dirt. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
