injection pump breather can it let water in?
ok been doing a lot of research as my 300tdi has started pluming white smoke on tick over cold or warm!. ive only had it a few days but wasn't smokey the first few days until i jet washed under the bonnet. had the engine running and gave everything a decent blast. the white smoke seems to be a symptom of water in the fuel, ans just discovered there is a breather on the injection unit. could i have got water in there? and how long would it take to clear? ive done nearly 50 miles and its still smoking! My 109 thread
