hey BPman and others, you've probably seen me around on here before but I've (as far as I know!) never met any of you...
wondering what your thoughts would be to me joining in? I'm from Cheshire so its ~3hr journey for me but I don't mind (would drive to S.Africa if i could afford fuel!) but i guess id have to come down the night before maybe? what time would you plan to start and end? im vaguely capable with a 4wd and stuff but no expert (will only be 19 at that date!) and I've always wanted to explore the plains with some people who know it! I guess you have seen my 110 but its basically standard except i have steering guard etc and will have a CB fitted by then hopefully. any info and reassurance that its suitable for me would be good! I've been out in N.wales before 2/3 times and usually coped fine  just some scratchy walls and branches to be nervy of! Cheers, David

Ok sounds good - if someone could give me a breif overview of how these things go down then I will be able to decide whether I can commit or not. Just roughly what time you'd meet in the morning? And maybe a postcode/vague address of somewhere near where we start?
