Wipac Flasher Relay - trailer warning light on
I've just replaced the side & indicator lights on the front and stop/tail, indicators on the rear with Wipac LEDs.

I installed the new Wipac relay with the adjustment knob on the top and set the correct flasher speed. Everything works fine (after reversing the polarity of each unit) but now I have the trailer warning light whenever the indicators flash.

I tried putting the relay on the lowest setting possible (as some other forum posters suggested) and still the trailer warning light stays on.

Is there a better relay to use that is also compatible with the Wipac LED units?

It would be great if I i could use the LED lights without the warning light coming on (unless towing of course!)

Try the RDX version, that should cure the issue and there is no reason why it shouldn't be compatible IMO.

Wow £30!

My Wipac resistor was £9. Guess you get what you pay for!

Quite expensive I know, but you get what you pay for.
I still need to get one and their indicators, only have the stop tail and sidelights right now. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I did mine tonight whilst replacing the OEM headlights for Crystals. The front end certainly looks much cleaner and brighter now.

Good luck with the indicators and thanks for help today Smile
