Convert Double Cab into Utility/Station Wagon?
Hi,

Is it possible or should I say, how possible is it, to modify a Double Cab Pick-up into a Station Wagon / Utility vehicle?

Is it just a case of swapping the roof and rear door, and remove rear panel (that has the sliding window) and install the side panels?

Or is it much more complicated?

Cheers

L

That's basically it. You'll need the whole rear (door and it's surrounds), including the 3/4 windows if you want them. you'll also need to extend the wiring loom for the 3rd brake light and rear window demister, load bay light..

I don't know whether there is somewhere on the DC loom for rear door central locking.

The only other thing to think about will be the rear bulkhead. You might need to take that out.

Other than that it'll just be cosmetic. (soundproofing...). One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Thanks for that Alan...I didn't think of the wiring loom for the rear brake light etc.

Hmmm...
