Greasing propshafts/awkward angles!
Hi all, just been out to grease my propshaft UJ's - hope I'm not teaching anyone to suck eggs here, but sorted an easy way to get at those awkward grease nipples, thought it might help someone out who's not tried it before.

LR in neutral (and high /low range), handbrake off. Just jack up a wheel till off the ground (using wheel chocks/axle stands of course!}, this allows you to easily turn propshaft by hand when under vehicle. Allign grease nipple to best possible angle.

I found 3 out of the four nipples to be at wrong angle, couldn't get grease gun on them, so a quick tweak with a 10mm spanner to give best possible angle in yoke - worked a treat, all now nicely greased - peace of mind till next time!

And then I took some piccies as such a nice day.... Very Happy

Top tipthat mate. Surprising how easy it is to over look such a simple method. A trick I've used for years. Except I forgoti left the wheel jacked up once and drove off then over my bottle Jack Whistle
