Are you sure the 30 l limit is for diesel too? Usually the limits for petrol and diesel are different. Cheers, Vincent

There were ques at most filling stations yesterday & today, but only because people are panic buying.
Not heard of any fuel stations running out yet though. Good luck & have a good trip. Marc |

Thank for your replies
I'm hoping that as were are travelling through the night and entering into France at about 11pm, finding fuel should be easier as it's unlikely the French will be queuing at these times. We should have enough fuel to cover about 400 or so miles. Here hoping |

All the stations around me here in the Drome Provencale are closed due to no fuel. They need to send in the bloody army with live rounds!

Sorry to hear that RiverBoy,
Do you know the situation with regard to the service stations on the autoroutes? Are they still getting supplied with fuel? Thanks |

I don't I'm afraid. I would imagine they would get supplies before others though. Diesel ran out really fast around here, They still had petrol yesterday but today it seems they've run out of that as well.
I'm off up to Valence tomorrow afternoon to pick up my new Defender, so will see what the situation is on the way. I just hope I have enough in my Peugeot to get there and back if I can't find any |

At 11.17,as your descending smugglers pass there is a track to the right. It's worth a look down this track,it brings you out just before Tor.
There is a lovely little refuge down there. Marc |
