Another tent recommendation | |
Living in Ireland the wind is often a huge problem. A few years back we arrived at the camp site in the dark, it was raining a bit but the wind!! We couldn't drive all the way so in the dark we pitched tents in high winds. At the time I had a regular type tent with sticks, it was impossible to control. I was very close to going home again that night and I said never again!
Did a whole lot of research and I bought a Quechua XXL III. After owning it a few years now I can really recommend it. It keeps the wind and the rain out. I can put it up in the dark in high wind in 2 minutes, less if the conditions are good. Same taking it down, very easy. I really like the porch area as you can get inside and take off wet clothes.
