Having said that it depends what you need it for. If you are wanting to use spreadsheets and word docs then forget ipad! The new tablets operating on windows will be best for that.

Yep is go iPad if I was going to get one.
Since the range has just been refreshed there are bound to be some deals on the last models going too. The mini is very tidy and neat Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

iPad for me too. I've used a couple of other tablets belonging to friends and the touch screens were crap, you just end up prodding at the screen endlessly trying to get something to happen and it's incredibly frustrating. When I bought my iPad Retina I was unsure how much use I'd get out of it (MacBook Pro is my main machine, but also have an iMac in the house), but actually I use it more than my laptop at home now. It's great to just pick up and put down, battery lasts ages. Use mine mainly for web browsing and email, and occasionally looking at photos. For me, the iPad is just very simple and easy to use and does exactly what you want it to. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

iPad, using one right now. If it stays at home don't go for the mini for the sake of it on price. The full size version is far superior for browsing. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Google Fire, Asus Tabs, Archos. Anything not MAC really, as MAC are evil and over price all there product buy £300 at least, Ipads are only populer because they have the market for accessories.

My vote is for the iPad too, only proviso is go for the biggest memory you can afford, you can never have too much. Since I got mine about 6 months ago, I have only used my desktop half a dozen times!
Btw, If you can't afford the extra storage options then consider one of these, fantastic http://www.amazon.co.uk/EasyAcc%C2%AE-Wire...ad+storage And it re-charges the battery! Chris 2010 Defender 110 Station Wagon, Santorini Black. |
