Today, Cardiff - Bristol - Caernarfon - Cardiff. 429 miles, 9 hrs 18 mins, 9.3 L / 100 km., approx 31 mpg.
Apart from the M4 to Bristol and then back to Newport the rest was cross country, the A470 and some B roads . 2010 MY 90 XS, with a BAS remap. Very Happy. LANDYWATCH Neighbourhood Watch for Land Rover Owners http://www.landywatch.co.uk/smf2/index.php |

Not literally, but felt like it in mid Wales and Snowdonia. Single lane with passing places and grass in the middle. Chased by 4 collies in one place. Couldn't see them but when they gave up there were still 4 in the rear view mirror. LANDYWATCH

Thanks Marcus. Mind you when I got back had to wash it to remove the collection of insect life plastered over the front. LANDYWATCH

Had to drive to Lytham from Dorset and back a couple of weeks ago - 640 miles and I was gobsmacked at the comfort and stability on the motorway in appalling weather.
On the way back home, single carriageway a road, throwing it down, pitch black a Merc rep mobile decided he wanted to pass me, got half way along side before standing it on its nose due to the floods and standing water. I put my foot down and never saw him again !!!! Very very impressed. |

WelshGas have you fitted larger intercooler / updated turbo etc, or just the remap from BAS?

Just the remap. It does ALL I want it to do. Had the maximum speed setting changed from 82 to 90 mph. Depending on how I drive I get anything from 9 to 11 L/100kms fuel consumption ie: 31 to 25 mpg, normally about 10.4L/100kms with fairly spirited driving. LANDYWATCH

Ditto Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
