Touring in Europe.
Many countries in Europe insist that you carry warning triangles, hi-vis vests and spare bulbs for external lights. But if you have LED brake-side-indicator lamps, e marked, what do you do?
Carry no replacement , or carry the old light unit + incandescent bulb? Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH

Well, if you have LEDs,.......... there are no bulbs, correct?......... So you cannot carry spare bulbs for something which is bulb-less in the first place I think. Logic? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

You could take the old units if you are nervous but tbh, the likely hood of an led failure is pretty slim, you're more likely to have a wiring fault. I suppose taking the old units shows willing? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Just keep a box with spare bulbs in the car. Even if they don't fit it doesn't matter. The chances you get checked on spare bulbs is next to 0 and the chances they will have a look if you have all the right spare bulbs is even smaller.
