trying times
Well by this afternoon I should have a good idea as to how successful dads hip replacement and pelvic reconstruction operation has gone, I am concerned because they can't give a consistent chance of success it varies between 75% & 90% the suspense is awful. I know he's in the best place but still. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Good luck:thumbsup: Keep being positive with him when he comes round, give him lots of encouragement to get up and move (especially when he gets home).
My 85 year old neighbour had hers done she was up and walking the same day and was home by Friday, she thought she had been run over by a truck when she first came round but the pain soon passed.

Tbh this is actually a rebuild of one from when he had the pair done 15 years ago so he kinda knows what the script is only this time he needs his pelvis rebuilt too so not quite as simple. Latest is he goes in at noon so more waiting which is fine but im at the other side of the pennines so I can't even be there for moral support. Argh I hate this. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
