Rain that is..........just a few sunny days to allow the ground to dry out a bit would be nice......
Also sick of people asking to be pulled out of water......then expecting me to get out and get wet to connect up! Sorry just felt like a moan.  The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead.

Yep me too, the villlage I live in has "hill" as part of its name, the other part is an old English word for hill as well!
So not wishing to be to be above others I'm two hills above. It does mean that to get anywhere I still have to go through the wet bits and there's parts round here that have been underwater since before Christmas. The damned weather forecast doesn't give any hope either  |

There's been a land slip the other side of the town near where I live and lots of flooding. Fords are pretty much impassable, that one it the photo doesn't look much and in normal conditions it's only about a foot and a half deep. jeremy clarkson explained it well...
too many people have bought priuses and hybrids and so its cooled the atmosphere down, causing more rain. You can't argue with science. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

May not have made the national news but three villages have been told to evacuate about 8 miles from us.
They had to use the police helicopter and loud hailer's to tell the residents to leave - makes you wonder how they are going to get out if the police can't get in ?
