2.2 v 2.4 injector noise
I've been told that part of the reason 2.2s are quieter than 2.4s is that the former have less noisy (Piezo) injectors.

How much difference is there? Does the 2.2's DPF filter also baffle engine noise signifigantly? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Me too. Think Dgardel attempted to fit the 2.2 cover to his 2.4.

***EDIT*** He did with a little fettling and modifying!.... Thumbs Up

Concerning the noise between 2.4 vs. 2.2 the cover IS the difference.....
