I heard one or two mentions on here about new wiring harnesses for the engine (if I remember right around by the a/c compressor).
If you had a loose connection to say the plug on the turbo actuator how would you go about checking / remaking the plug connection? would it be a case of resorting to a new harness? |

The harnes is a repair harnes for the turbo actuator plug, it joins into the original engine loom after you cut back the old turbo plug.

if the plug to the turbo actuator does have poor connections would this tie in with the symptoms I've had in the past ie knocking like diesel knock, like fuel starvation?
to my mind the turbo gets going about 1500rpm so presumably if there is an issue with the wiring this isn't like to be evident below 1500 rpm? |
