Laying up my 110 for the winter! what the best things to do?
I know!

But we've 2 audi quattros in the house, a van and my company car so not without wheels Rolling Eyes

Gandalfs having the winter off to allow me to keep a check on the mileage and to finish a few things i've been tinkering with for ages.

Will disco 1 steel rims and 205's fit?
do i take the batteries out or leave them on trickle charge?
will it get mouldy inside?

Just had it's second service so fluids are topped and antifreeze is ok etc.

Presume it has to stay outside ??

Rent a shed to get it inside , leave the battery on, with a tow rope in the back ready to pull the Audi's out the ditch California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

If it lives inside a garage I would connect a tricklecharger, so it is always ready to rescue Audi's Laughing
Maybe put a moisture absorber in the interior. Cheers, Vincent

1 Why bother if inside,,
2 Trickle charger
3 Put a small dehumidifier on a time switch inside, (both Camper and boat have them, this time of year, makes a big difference California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

the wheels are getting a repaint / retyre so i have a set of disco rims on knacked 205's that i could fit, if they fit.

the interiors coming out anyway so widows open a little and a small dehumidifier will be great.

Pretty sure Disco rims fit, but there is one way to find out Thumbs Up dont matter so much if your not moving it.
Leave the all windows open a bit so it can still get airflow and keep drying the windows everyday till they stop steaming up, parked in a garage shouldn't take more than a couple of days before stay dry just don't leave the damp rag in the car, whilst it's in there give it a good clean and polish, you know you want to Mr. Green .

frost sell dehumidifier bags, i used them in my battery box for a while, they work well, but if it's inside, keep a couple of windows slightly open and the garage ventilated.
