Noise Help
Hi All,

Sunday just gone, I went down a very short green lane and back again, and in that short time, some of it through some shallow water I seem to of somehow developed a squeak!?

I have done a video and now have about 40 mins of it, but just did a small section,

I've been puzzled by this as I couldn't get a routine to it, but tonight it's started doing it only on acceleration, before hand I thought it was when letting off, but alas, this time, its definitely on acceleration.

I've have a wiggle of the wheels and they feel solid. F/R has a slight knock, but not to cause this.

I've been very puzzled by this and poked around several times.

Tonight, I have also noticed some odd vibrations to.

Am I looking at some knacked UJ's?

My front diff has some tremendous backlash which is due to be sorted in time, but I'm guessing the UJ's just couldn't take the punishment?

If someone could take a listen it would be appreciated!

Many Thanks!

Apologies for squeaky pedals to :p!

My first impression was of it being engine speed related rather than road speed. Water pump, maybe? It's difficult to tell without being there though. It could easily be a UJ, I guess. Darren

Thanks for the reply!

I initially thought the same, but when stationary, the engine will idle completely squeak free and I can rev it until my hearts content without a single squeak. It's only when moving do I get it which would suggest something somewhere that rolls or rotates.

Water pump is only 1000 or so miles old, maybe not even that. However, I cant remember if it was a Britpart one or not. Might of been Bearmach.
