My truck threw a code tonight, same symptoms that the recent software upgrade is supposed to fix - engine reasonably cold, lost power in all gears, engine light came on. Ignition off, restarted and drove home with the engine light on.
LRA sent an AA bloke and all he could do was capture the code which I think was P1169 and reset the light. Will ring the service centre tomorrow and get it booked in. |

Don't let the AA/RAC reset the code. Unless it is still in the system, LR can't do anything about it.
I had a similar issue on a VW recently. RAC reset the code and the dealer wouldn't move forward. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
