Door lock gubbins - broken
Hi all,

In the process of changing the knackered door lock on the 90, I seem to have broken a part of the locking mechanism as the old barrel and the bit that attaches to it would not separate and despite some gentle heating, followed by some less gentle tapping with a hammer and punch, and then trying to drill it out didn't work either. It eventually gave up and broke.

So, I am in need of the part that attaches to the back of the barrel but have failed to find it on eBay or anywhere else for that matter.

Would anyone happen to know the part number or even better where I can get one from

The drivers door lock came out when I undone it and went to take the key out, atm I have to go through the back door to unlock either front door but when I am ready I will replace all the locks as both front door locks are very stiff Embarassed Graham

Hi,

I soon realised that the bit that broke comes as part of the exterior handle but aren't expensive at all.

I'd recommend you change them all sooner rather than later as it's easy and cheap to do. Getting in the back is a right pain in the backside and would do my head in!

The part I think your on about like a plastic cam you cant buy separate it comes with the handle
