Hi all, staying with a friend who has a wolf 24v 90 300 Tdi
Started off a simple problem - the N/side headlamp lost it main beam, so he brought a new bulb 24v
The lamp still doesn't work,
Removed the bulb, checked voltages and all present, checked earth, and ran a new earth to the bulb
Still the same, seems the problem is - the voltage is ok at the headlamp plug its self until a bulb is put in the holder, the. The voltage disappears
We swapped the complete units side for side, it's still not working on the nearside
That's about where my understanding of electrickety goes,
Any pointers please ?
Thanks in advance

the voltage is induced in the cable from outer supply i would check cable continuity to and from lamp back to the switch and fuse too
