halfords or equivalent will sell a fairly cheap, basic but does-the-job one..
i have an RAC one which always works fine, most batt chargers will have a trickle charge function. i used to leave the charger itself in the seat box with the battery with just the plug hanging out and an extension lead into the car when i needed it Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

There are loads of them to choose from and I've certainly gone through loads, but got a ctekthrough a group buy on Disco3 forum and a towing electrics adapter off Martin and I don't know how I coped before.
Ctek and the adapter all the way for me from now on. I'm so pleased I'm about to buy another 3. |

Ctek for me too. Works really well, simple to use - just connect up and leave. Will tell you if battery is u/s. I bought a small capacity one to keep the batteries in tip top condition when I leave the vehicle for long periods. Just left it on for 4 weeks whilst I was away and let it cycle through all the modes

Are there any other quick attachment alternatives to the following from the Disco3 forum which uses the towing electrics? (i don't have towing electrics!)
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic20342.html?highlight=charger Like others have said access to our batteries isn't that easy, especially if you suddenly need to dash out and the seats in bits...... |
