DPF ?

Can anyone please tell me if the DPF warning light should glow when you first turn on the ignition

You only have one life, live it....forget the cost.

Thanks for the confirmation, the other vehicles in the family all have a DPF light that comes on when the ignition is turned on and it then extinguishes once the engine is running, a sort of bulb check. I have never seen it the Defenders and the handbook is less than clear so was just wondering if mine had an issue.

Just to add, after speaking to my local dealers service manager he too confirmed that this was the case.
