YTD to September sales for Defender are ~4500 according to this... http://newsroom.jaguarlandrover.com/en-in/...and_rover/
Sometimes JLR confusingly uses financial year to date rather than calendar YTD without stating what it is. I would suspect that a much larger % of sales is going to home market than rest of range which is ~20-25%. Personally I'm not surprised rest of Europe is only taking about 10% of sales. Outside of the UK it's not that popular and is a very niche vehicle for new sales in most European markets. Cheers Steve |

Morning,
Im a member on some other LR forums but i came across this one last night and it looks brilliant and full of great information. Yes the source is rather reliable. A long time friend who is a employee on the production line. His role is part supply and quality control of parts. At this stage i would not personally trust any information 100% as there will be a lot of (grape vine rumours) Ian |

I don't want to be rude, but if your mate does parts quality control on defenders he needs shooting and I think a few people on here would like to lynch him

welcome, a good sense of humour will do you well here! have you got a defender yourself? back ON TOPIC, id love (as said before) there to be a special edition last defender, it'd be the most sought after one ever, and no doubt a pretty solid investment! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
