INTERNAL MIRROR BRACKET REMOVAL
I am thinking of removing the headliner from my 1992 Defender as it is sagging - but how do you remover the bracket for the rear view mirror? Rolling Eyes

Remove the mirror and then there are two screws the other part to a bracket 1999 Defender TD5 110

Grab the mirror arm and twist anti clockwise and it'll pop off. Then there are two phillips head screws inside to remove the bit that is left.

That's the easy bit! Tug it upwards, both of my darling children know how to pee me off, they take the mirror off but the real pain is getting it latched back on Rolling Eyes
