1997 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Belize Green
front diff? rumble
When i am slowing down, right around 40mph there is a rumble coming from the front diff. This happens both in gear and out of gear. This only last for a few seconds and goes away around 35mph. i have checked the props and they are fine and the wheel bearings are fine.
The front diff has minimal play.
There is no noise on acceleration.....any clue?

it could be one of the front prop bearings loose coz that happens on mine as well. The furthest front uj had a tiny bit of play in it and when i pressed in a new one, it stopped and sounded good again.

I have exaactly same rumble under exactly same conditions from the Rear . 100% positive its the dif .
