I'm in a stuck, I need to use the defender for work but I also need to dinitrol it already spotted some rust but its been and it getting wet round here
Next saturday is the best time for me to do it anytime soon and this week isn't looking great for weather. I can at a push use my car for a week so would jet washing the hell out of it tomorrow and letting it stand on the drive for a week be to dry it out? The friday before hand I was thinking of using some old fabric to make a skirt around the base of it to keep in the heat from a space heater, 12 hours of that should dry it out I'd have thought. How dry does inside the chassis need to be for dinitrol? |

Well its 8 days old so I hope the dealers didn't take it off road as part of the PDI
At the moments it's just light surface dusting. |

Good to hear this. I picked up my 110 on Friday and had arranged, weather permitting, to drive it from the dealership straight to Zagato for the full treatment. The rain and poor forecast put a stop to that, so am hoping it can be done next weekend. I will post photos when the weather relents. The 110 is an XS in Santorini black, only modification so far is the upgraded audio. Has anyone else cheated to get DAB? I simply plugged my portable DAB radio into the AUX socket, worked a treat even with the aerial down. I have waited 21 years since having to sell my 1965 109" 12 seater so a few more days won't hurt. Loving the new 110 already. 1970 Series 2A 88" |

Which Dinitrol product did you end up choosing? I got myself in a muddle and just went with an ACF50 and Corrosion block combo for now, (works well on the bikes), just hoping it will delay the inevitable a little longer until i can decide best how to treat it. A man with no boat is a prisoner |

Zagato recommended I get the Dinitrol/Rejel kit. I ended up ordering from rejel.com as he suggested. Top service, arrived 24 hours later. Buy the Rejel own version, it is Dinitrol but not brand named. When I asked them about it, they said the new Dinitrol was 1% different but most people complained they preferred the "old one", i.e. Rejel.
I bought the kit for a motorhome-size to get extra under body cans, worked out at £130 inc. VAT and free delivery too. 1970 Series 2A 88" |
