A huge thank you to BPman for all his effort posting and packaging of these wheels . They have been painted with 4 coats of original LR limestone brushing enamel and fitted to new Wrangler MTRs . I'm gonna wrap the roof in limestone also to match .f

They look very nice
Did you paint them yourself or have them done professionally? If the former, did you use spray cans or brush (or do you have access to a spray gun etc) - the finish looks very good. I'm thinking of swapping my Boosts to Wolfs and colouring if I can get a similar finish. |

Thanks to all for the kind comments . I'm at Dunkeld in Perthshire right now . Beautiful autumn colours , raging waterfalls and of course the home of LR off-road experience . Because of the giant Douglas Firs and surrounding mountains there's very poor signal .It was the old school , retro look that I wanted for the winter . Yes I always only brush on . Spraying is far to thin and you'd need about 30 coats to get a finish . The coach builders brushing enamel is designed to be brushed on . No thinners , straight from the tin . Keep your eye on it for runs . Use a quality enamel brush . It settles like glass and will t - cut and polish well . I will post the only company I can find supplying this original landrover limestone when I get home . Whites not for me . Info soon . Keith
