Thanks TJN.
I was thinking about getting one from uk, but if I'm correct it's no different. Single seat's on the left, bench on the right. |

I'm afraid that's way over my budget.

I can't imagine you will sit nicely in the back. If you found a nice setup for the back please post your picture!

Maar, you also have a 130?
In our family we're all skinny and not to tall. Think, I could make a oem looking bracket which allows the seat to move forward for about 2 centimeters so it can recline a bit more. |

You don't need to put the seat more forward in order to be able to recline it... You can extend the cab of a 130 giving rear passengers plenty of reclining and leg space.

Eric, I dare you to try that with a 130 in Holland registered as a commercial vehicle. You're probably risking getting some sort of "invoice" from the government.

Are there now also specs in Holland which define how long a cab on a utility can be at the max?

We have road tax. Normally it's around 220 euro a month for this car (and because of co2 maybe in future a lot more with our politics needing more money every month). Because the basic version fits our "grijs kenteken" rules we pay 40 euro a month. We also don't pay BPM, if you change something outside the strict rules you will have to pay the BPM (13.000) and a fine. So keeping it as standard as possible is required. That's the same reason a lot of dutch versions make the back removable to still be complient. A normal 110 costs 100.000 overhere, a 130 around 40.000 So back to the seats.

Apart from the minimum size of the load area you also have a cabin size vs load area thing. Better not trying to mess with it.
A 90 as a family car could be big enough for me of only it wasn't for the fact the road tax and the BPM would be insane. You could buy a Disco4 for less. |

That's quite an expensive mod at £3,320 plus VAT: Found these photos online and wondered if this was a DIY version, seems to be about twice as wide as the Foley's version: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Apparently Exmoor now has the black span mondus fabric which would make it suit the front seats a bit more. Will have to see how the brackets are because I think these are for the 110?
A Waeco CFX40 has been ordered and will replace the left rear seat for the time coming, but eventually it will move to the middle when I turn the 130 in a 4 seater. Also discussed the possibility for an external connector to "Prius" my cool-box when I'm parked in front of the house. Click image to enlarge |

Brought the car to the shop this week and whilst the they prepared the last bits of the custom seatbase, I removed rear seats and the old seatbase. Rear bolts of the seatbase we're already lose and the screws on the front of the floor were screwed in next to the clips.
Click image to enlarge IMG_8279.jpg by Tookaphotoof, on Flickr The new seatbase houses two quick accessible compartments and the middle one can only be opened with screws. The fridge will be mounted on top. Just as I thought the only thing left were the front seats to be mounted, it turned out the frame of the left seat was almost 5mm smaller?! Wasn't going to fit, so I went home and the shop solved it for me yesterday. Click image to enlarge IMG_8282.jpg by Tookaphotoof, on Flickr We've tested the seat that did fit. The extra legroom and the seating angle is like heaven, though I still prefer to sit behind the steering wheel myself. Will post some more photos online when it's completely finished. Special thanks to Maar10 on this forum for the two front seats! The 130 will look like it left the factory as a four seater now. Last edited by tookaphotoof on 8th Jun 2015 8:45am.
