Solicitor needed for insurance dispute
Hi Guys,

Hopefully there's someone on here that can can point me in the direction of a very good Solicitor that specialises in insurance disputes.

It's probably prudent not to go too deep into the details yet but the basics are;

The other party has accepted responsability, so the claim should be clear cut but my underwriter is arguing the toss over my declared modifications. The key word being that they have been declared.

I don't think they have a leg to stand on but i'm not an expert and it needs someone who is. "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'!

Did your insurance include legal protection cover, most have a list of approved solicitors they could appoint.

The problem looks like its a cock up between the broker (a well known specialist) and the underwriter. Somehow i don't think the legal cover will include that.

I think it's going to get messy so I want someone (not affiliated to either the broker or underwriter) in my corner who knows their onions. "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'!

Dont involve YOUR underwriter then deal with their insurance company direct

Running 1200 cars things like this are simple to me however a retail policy is well

Be aware though dealing direct can / may make any legal protection you have interesting

Oh also just noted the other Party was that the user or their insurance company (Huge differance)
