United Kingdom 2004 Defender 90 Td5 HT Tonga Green
Steering box leak?
My 2004 TD5 90 H/T passed its MOT today Thumbs Up
Just the two advisories (1) bushes on my rear shocks are worn & need replacing... They'll hopefully be replaced in the next fortnight when it goes for a big service, full underbody truck wash & another waxoyl all ready for winter.
.. But the assessor also pointed out that (2) my "steering box damp is weeping" & said the immortal words they all do that... If so what would the forum recommend? Bow down as I intend to keep Larry the Landy quite a while & he leads a fairly cosseted life Rolling Eyes "Ease your worries, Clear-up your woes,
Go into your garage & put stuff into rows."

I've had that advisory for the last two years.
