Use of Puma empty dash space
Has anyone found a neat use for the empty 'screen' under the fuel/temp gauge in the puma dash?

It's prime real estate and obviously comes from where the multiple-display on the F2 etc. is.

Don't know what could go there, thermometer? Didn't know if anyone had any bright ideas or has seen anything Cheers, David

Nothing there = something less to go wrong Whistle

But a low box selected warning light would be cool, to go with the difflock warning light. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Unless you are an electrical wizard, probably best to leave alone, the dash binnacle is sync'd with the 10AS unit and the ECU

I have put there the ScanGauge:

It covers partly lights-on indicator. If I would able to find alternative device just neatly covering unused space I would put it instead. Janusz

^^ I like that. even with international postage to the UK of $25 the price is very good! How does it compare with a scangauge? KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

Just been looking on website, WOW. Is it as good as it looks?!

What info can you get with the defender?

Sorry if you have a thread / info somewhere else, you can link if easier! Cheers, David

Not bad. Can also read and clear fault codes and gives you most important info.

IIRC, Lorryman wrote a review and comparrison somewhere here about the Ultragauge VS some of the more well know code readers.

Will see if I can find it....
