Earth for rear lights
Any one tell me if there is a earth that attaches anywhere on the rear of the chassis ?
For the lighting loom ?

Steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs

On pre puma, they bolt onto the bodywork and via the main wiring loom (I can't remember if my Td5 does as well... I think not)

On the pre 2013 Puma you can maybe use the black wire of the permanent live wires (purple and black) behind the RH side rear sidepanel. That one here:

Ok cheers looking at my op I don't explain my self well my rear lights and I detractors arnt working nor is my reverse lights so I think I have a earth fault ?

Is it both sides that have failed or just one.
The earth wiring diagramme seems to show two for the rear of the vehicle, one each side. The exact location of the earth points are not shown. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Well I have been out and flung myself under the back end of mine with a torch, I cannot see any earth points that are easily visible. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Mines a truck cab so hope it's not different but Iv also found out today I have no rear lights atall nothing works ?

Any suggestions

Rear lights are earthed in the vicinity of the transfer box. I think that a year or two ago I posted the manual page showing the location.
