[Wanted] front brake pads holding clips
I am looking for a set of front brake pads holding clips to stop the pads moving and rattle on our bumpy roads... I know that on older versions defender there used to be a sort of thin metal that was wedged between the pad and the holding pins.....sorry do not know how to explain it better....

any pointers?

Sounds more like the rear pad fitting kit you are explaining. Front ones are two springs that go over the pins.

I just bought a set of EBC (Green) pads and they have a kevlar type pad on the back to prevent rattle. Haven't tested them yet, but never had rattle from the front pads...... sure it isn't the rear?

At the rear I do have the anti rattle springs as these...

at the front I have the springs but since a bit soft I think they are not working properly.... older 110/90 used to have something similar to this at the front....

I need them for 2002 110 vented front calipers....

Fronts should be like this:

I just built these calipers up and fitted to my 110. the springs are fairly strong... enough to just push the pads off of the disc (Well, they did when there was no oil in the system... now it's bled up, I suspect not)
