United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey
Goodbye Golf, hello defender!
After a 4 hour round trip once the Mrs' Golf was sold, we are now back in the Defender fold! Cool

Really pleased & it drove so well on the 110 mile trip home. never driven a remapped Td5 before (JE Stage 1) - boy what a difference but now I need the Disco transfer box upgrade! Laughing

It already has LED sidelights/tail lights so I need new sidesteps, rubber boot mat & a NAS rear step - anyone???

1 x happy chappy! Very Happy Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

And unlike your golf, your beautiful defender will need some security on it Thumbs Up

No need to go all public on the forum, but there are lots of options

I had an Ashcroft xfer upgrade, fantastic, much much quieter and will cruise at 65-70 all day (between fuel stops Rolling with laughter )

Enjoy your new truck Thumbs Up

Great looking truck,

Just some advice re: NAS rear step, I had one fitted to my '08 90 briefly (around 1yr) and when I removed it it had noticeably trapped dirt and begun to degrade the rear crossmember.

Given the price of them and how little I felt it added to the car (makes reaching far into boot hard, and doesn't actually help you get in) I decided to get my Ł300 back by ebaying it.

Just my opinion, but if it helps make a good decision then hopefully it's some use Smile some people love them, I'd say I'm a sceptic.

For gearing, you could always fit a lift and bigger tyres! Hehe Cheers, David
