I hated the generals the continental ones are much better, used them all last winter keep the speed down and they are fine.
When I had bfg mt's I towed our 4.5tonne van up a hill no problem. Never got stuck once. |

That's what I'm intending to do! Regarding BFG's IMO although I haven't driven on any I think ATR's will be better on snow than KM2's ( I have KM2's and wouldn't ever swap them!) but the ATR's IMO have a better footprint and general grip in snow etc. Saying that I find I encounter mud 10x more than I ever would snow so I still stick to KM2's. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Iv never had em mate but the general direction of new tyre chit - chat seems to favour the KM2's . I know they are slippy when wet ( im sure thats a Bon-jovi album ) but i used to have Bronko muds so sure i can handle these . Besides , just carry sno - chains in event of heavy white stuff . Geeees ! This is an expensive hobby eh ? Just as well my missus is a milllionair

I had General Grabbers in the first round of big snow this year then got my STT just in time for the second round.
Huge difference between them. The grip was far better with the STTs on. Just realised how weird it now looks without the steering and light Guards fitted Click image to enlarge Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

I had a set of General Grabber A/T's last winter. The 110 did not want to go they way I wanted and would slide all over the place at the sight of the smallest amount of snow. When I had the 300TDI 90 with BFG AT KO's it would stick like glue to the road and never gave a hint of trouble.
I must take out a Bank loan and get a set of BFG's ordered. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Being my first winter with a 90, do I need to change my tyres at all, I have Big Friendly Giant All Terrins on ATM, Wiltshire isn't the snowiest of places in winter, but we do get some?
