300tdi axles
I have the chance to buy a 300tdi rear axle, it's not on the vehicle and the seller isn't sure if it's a 90 or 110, how can i tell the difference. if it's a 110 what do i need to fit it to my 90?

also there a set of 300tdi front hub assemblies, would these fit on my early defender axle casing if i use the 300tdi driveshafts and diff?

hubs or wheel stations? wheel station complete will bolt on (7? bolts) for the swivel housing.

all 300tdi's are designed to b24 spline so you would need the shafts and diff as you say.

hubs wont go on your existing stubs though, they would need changing.

i think you can put the older stronger CVs in a 300tdi hub anyway (i think!) so could keep 10 spline diff.

a 90 will have a std rover diff the 110 will either have a salisbury or a P38 diff in it. if it doesnt look like the current diff nose on the front or rear of your 90 then it is a 110 one!

if its a P38 one you may need a longer prop, if its a salisbury one you may need a shorter prop Cheers

I believe they are complete wheel stations minus the calipers. I'll go back and have another look at the rear axle now I know what I'm looking for thank you
