North Wales camping with light offroading? Strata de-tour?

We will be in Criccieth setting up camp on sat evening of 3rd August and have a week to kill.

Are there any non damaging lanes to travel, scenery to look at/walk etc?

We may well move around camping for a couple of nights at a time so any camping suggestions welcome.

We could venture down to Strata Florida but have never been before.

Or any members fancy a meet and drive out?

not sure if you're aware but there's a few vids on you tube about strata florida.
