I've just had a quote for five 265/75 x 16 BFG KM2s for my Disco 2 from my local friendly regular 4x4 tyre place, guess what, £800 supplied, fitted, and balanced, inc new valves. Seems to be the going rate. |

For what it's worth, I bought Cooper STTs, approx a year ago. They were £100 each. Not fitted admittedly, but much cheaper than BFGs! And just as good imo.

I respectfully don't think so... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Ditto, I'd much rather pay the extra for the BFG. Out of interst, how many miles do you typically get from the STTs? |

Don't know yet. I've had mine on since Feb 12, and they've barely worn at all. A mate of mine has similar tales, and his have been on about a year more than that.
I guess that's 10k a year. Very good behaviour on road, great off road, and look ace! And red-dot - that may have been true about the old MTs, but the new things are nothing like they were. STTs are very good in my experience. |

That is a good price!
BFG has been a Michelin brand for years now. |

you sold 255/85s?! Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender |
