Four years old and no cracks or signs of use. Traces of the moulding pips still visible. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I've just had a quote for five 265/75 x 16 BFG KM2s for my Disco 2 from my local friendly regular 4x4 tyre place, guess what, £800 supplied, fitted, and balanced, inc new valves. Seems to be the going rate.

For what it's worth, I bought Cooper STTs, approx a year ago. They were £100 each. Not fitted admittedly, but much cheaper than BFGs! And just as good imo.

Ditto, I'd much rather pay the extra for the BFG.

Out of interst, how many miles do you typically get from the STTs?

Don't know yet. I've had mine on since Feb 12, and they've barely worn at all. A mate of mine has similar tales, and his have been on about a year more than that.

I guess that's 10k a year.

Very good behaviour on road, great off road, and look ace!

And red-dot - that may have been true about the old MTs, but the new things are nothing like they were. STTs are very good in my experience.

That is a good price!

BFG has been a Michelin brand for years now.

just sold me KM1s for £65 each, and they were well used with some blocks missing and cuts. 255.85R16s

Shocked you sold 255/85s?! Shocked Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
