Hi Darren. Are your springs Land Rover or aftermarket? The colour coding for standard LR springs on the rear of a 90 are; HD - Drivers side - green/yellow/red - Dual rated at 210 then 240lb HD - Passenger side - green/yellow/white - Dual rated at 210 then 240lb SD - Drivers side - blue/red - 225lb SD - Passenger Side - yellow/white - 225lb I would confess openly that I have just switched from HD +2" springs all round on my 110 to Standard LR springs (dual rated front and back) and the ride is amazingly comfortable now. The shocks remain the same, in my case Old Man Emu, the ride quality is vastly improved and I still carry the heavy loads I used to with the HD springs with no problem. If you are truly running HD springs then I would first look at the springs, a full set will not set you back all that much. IIRC I got mine off the bay for £50 with only delivery mileage on them |

I put a Terrafirma +40mm kit on my 90 and the rears were softer than the original Disco 1 set that came with the motor, more balanced too.
I believe they do a standard ride height set too. I'd highly recommend them, especially for the price. |

i have found that replacement dampers improve the ride far more noticeably than springs do.
if possible replace all 4 dampers for koni, bilston, de carbon or OME to improve the ride. |
