Depends really how many cables and for what? If it's for lighting have you considered tapping off the relay and going out through the underseat box that has large grommets fitted and plenty of room, or tapping from the lights themselves and going into the same underseat box? Would also save dash dismantling. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

I would go from the dash, through the back of the bulkhead into the engine compartment (does the puma have the same large oval rubber grommets like Td5?), then route the cable behind the brake cylinder, pick up on the RH wing wiring loom, and follow that path down to the front of the wing. You could mount the temp guage behind the louvre bit on the plastic headlight surround.

when i fitted my DRLs (2010 110) i went:
from behind radio fascia, through large oval grommet through bulkhead on passenger side, over front wheel arch, Into the headlamp 'box', out the bottom of the headlamp box - under the bottom of the headlamp surround panels, and straight into the back of the bumper Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Thanks for that, I don't know whether the puma's have the same oval grommet as the TD5 I'll have to go and look unless someone comes up with the answer first

yes they do (see my above post!) and there are also 4 smaller grommets which you can cut out around the outside which also works well, its a matter of which you can find with your finger inside the dash! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
