hi nidge, please don't take it that I was attacking you personally, ive not taken your post as an attack on us, at the end of the days it is your view. I am making public the other side of a situation so whoever reads it can then make their own opinion up based on stories from both sides, to help forum readers get an even more honest overview of a situation which is the fairest way as otherwise it is very unbiased; things such as saying the frames are paper thin when in fact they are actually thicker than standard land rover frames is an example, I haven't taken that as a personal attack but think its fair to state it from our side too. Likewise the honest truth to help other forum members make a decision based on facts from all sides. Obviously if someone decides not to buy our doors then that's fair enough but at least they have done it based on knowing all of the facts rather than based on a one sided view.
I'm sure everyone can see the merit and fairness in that.

Yes i am fully aware that we did get an email off you on 07/03/2012 regarding the crack on the door you purchased on 12/07/2011 , about 9 months after you received the door. There is a section you have missed from when you have copied and pasted the description of the listing whish is along the lines of what is in the descriptions of whats in our listings now. Again I am just trying to make clear the facts, I am not trying to sell my wares as you put but just merely giving forum readers the chance to make an accurate opinion of ourselves, whether good or bad but as long as its accurate,

I appreciate you giving us a second chance regarding the wings and value your opinion on the curved edges as id say that was down to not quite enough time being spent on the sanding stage which eliminates any minor marks or edges etc so will ensure more time is spent in that area getting right.

Also in the interests of everything being as transparent as possible to any readers here is the universal/budget door purchased below 9 months after purchase and the crack on the bottom right of where the wheel carrier had been mounted; comparing the door frame to the one we sell which is designed to take spare wheels, there is a lack of diagonal and horizontal strenghteners in the frame so the door couldn’t fully support the weight of the heavy 7.50 wheel and tyre

Fair enough William but if the original description was clearer I wouldn't have ordered the universal door.

Regarding the wings the fold lines will hopefully sand out during the finishing process. And overall I am happy with the wings for the price.

I do however need a drivers door for my current project maybe a way of putting this issue behind us Question

hi nidge, yes I can see your point of view,
but yes those marks will sand out no problem as that's just how they are finished at the manufacturer but obviously just weren't sanded for quite long enough to be perfect, an air orbital sander is what is used but a sanding will also get it just right,
Yes I think putting it behind us is the best way, ill just need to check tomorrow on our exact stock status of the front doors as I know 5 pairs have left us this week but im hoping there is still enough in stock to cover, otherwise the out of stock sign will be coming up on our website as just spoke to the manufacture today and its going to be about 5 weeks before our new load is ready! however im pretty sure we should have a couple of pairs left so ill get back to you tomorrow when I know for sure, as a good will gesture i can just do it for the price as advertised on the website with no extra cost for postage as off the top of my head you are in Ireland/n/Ireland which is about £25-30 postage normally, just in case worst case scenario no RH sides are left and you hadn't found another one in the meantime, until we get more in 5 week,s the offer will still stand if you ever bought one,

kind regards
william
