4 Post Car Lift
I've always fancied a 4 post car lift and have seen a range by a manufacturer called GEM (link to ebay item
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-LIFT-RAMP-4-...1c33e2546b )

Does anyone have any experience of lifts and recommendations for this or other models...?

cheers

I have a Bradbury lift, second hand. These are good and were used in most garages before other makes came on the scene. There is another make which I may have gone for if the cheap s/h Bradbury hadn't appeared, from Strongman in Leamington Spa

Try and find a used Bradbury or Tecalemit,,

Have a Bradbury 4 post,, must be 25 + year now, and bar regular ropes, have not laid a finger on it,, which is more that can be said for new 2 post lifts !!

Remember, most are 3 phase,, I would not bother with your e bay link lift !! even the add is abysmal California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Thank, judging by the eBay add/price I assumed it may not be the best.

Re: 3phase, mine is a domestic garage so doubt I can get 3 phase in there, so would need to be single.

Cheers

It's 10m x 18m with at least 4m eaves and pitched roof. Should fit a nice 4 poster..Wink

I've just googled some secondhand lifts, and the suppliers offer single phase conversion for around £300.

Cheers
