Camera guy reporting. Not much can be said with just the given info.
I could always tell you it's worth nothing so you can donate it to me? Could it be an OM4? What lenses? |

If I look at a camerashop in Holland, they have a 65-200 F4 (I assume that's the one) in a used state for €45,00.
OM2, again used state about €20. There are different versions 1.8/50 lenses, but they sell a mint one for €60. Private sales, I guess if you have patience, you could well get 100 pounds or more. It's because everything is like new. If I'd make you an offer there are two possibilities: 1. I give you such a low offer, you'd smash my brains with a hammer. 2. I give you a nice offer, but my wife will most certainly smash my brains with that hammer... |

Over the years I built up a significant collect of Canon FD-series gear including some very good lenses. When eventually I went digital and invested heavily in EOS lenses I investigated selling the FD stuff only to find it was, to all intents, worthless.
Quite recently I was asked to do some film work and bought a Panasonic AG-AF101 camera, which is a micro-four-thirds mount, which means that with a relatively inexpensive adaptor all those lovely C.anon FD lenses are useful again after all! |

Tookaphotoof ... we had an OM 4Ti when we did a long cycle trip some years ago allong with an OM1 - at the time these were the bee's knees in the camera range! Last week I took out my OM1 and it felt so small compaired to my partners EOD 1DS's and the lenses look so tiny when put next to the EOS versions ! Sadly as has been said here - there is a very little market for the pre-digital, pre-autofocas camera equipment. the only person I know who shoots film at the moment has a full frame Brontica that he bought 2nd hand for less than £100! wyvern, I still shoot film. Mainly with a Hasselblad 501 and recently got myself a Leica to have with me every day as the Hassy is a bit clumsy to have with me on a day to day basis.
Although I like my 5d2, nothing beats shooting analog. I have a couple of analog cameras. Imagine you could buy yourself a fullframe dslr with 50mm 1.4 lens for just 30 euro's! |

I sold my OM1 + 50mm lens, + 70 - 210mm zoom for £45 recently via eBay.
I'd kept it for years, but was never going to use it again. I've got a Canon 60D which does me just fine now. Cheers Simon |

Wyvrn, it depends on the brand I guess? Older Leica glass seems to get more expensive by the day. Great investment, I always say to my wife...
As Red Dot his stuff is still in boxes I guess he might be getting a premium over the regular prices. You will only need one camera nutter. |

I've got three Canon A1s with a host of lenses, motorwinds and dedicated flashes.
Cost a small fortune. Virtually valueless these days. |
