Hello, I have a Defender 90 Soft Top in Epsom Green for sale.
It was built from scratch in 94/95 for a wealthy customer using a knocked down kit (CKD), by Frogs Island 4x4. The diesel engine in the kit was sold and a V8 4.2 out of a 20,000 mile Vogue LSE fitted, together with all the fuel injection. The car was built with a full roll cage and made as a soft top. The owner wanted it to be like a NAS soft top, so it has lift handle doors and a side hinged tailgate. I am the second owner, I bought it in 2005, the odometer shows 47,000 but the engine has done 67,000 for the reasons above. I have had Frogs Island fit two Exmoor Trim forward facing fold up seats in the rear for my children, they have fitted three point seat belts welded to the cage. The car was reviewed and pictured in a Land Rover owner article (we have a copy). In good condition and garage stored, I am looking for around £8000. Unfortunately, I do not have a clue how to post pictures here; but there are 8 on www.autotrader.co.uk look for 'soft top' 'Defender' '90'. Best regards Simon Simon D |
