LANDRAUVERGNE 2013
Hi all,

I'm away down to France this year for LANDRAUVERGNE 5,6,7 July and wondered if there's any one else on here going?

Hi Andy,

No it's first time for me. Camping is included in your ticket price (for Landrover and 5 people) and they also include road books for greenlaning (3 different colour / grades). There are loads of great lanes around the area and with small conveys and guides should be great way of exploring.

There is also an offroad course or 3! Easy (non damaging) - extreme (canyon, for modded trucks) and apparently a 'ladies' (?) course.

Live music, bar and food, as well as stalls, oh yeah, being a French do you get a cheese included in the entry (St. Nectaire)!

Tickets are very limited, only 500 vehicles allowed.

Hope it helps.

We went a couple of years ago, the facilities are quite basic but a good show and the off road course is good. You'll need to brush up on your French ... we plan to go this year but needs to tie in with other holiday plans.

I seem to remember it was 37C late afternoon, it was a sweaty nights camping, still alot warmer than blighty Thumbs Up

I did the off road course in the ice defender .. no problem.

Well, that's a first.... Shocked .
A Defender being translated into the langue of Sarko/Hollande/Robespierre.... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
Sounds to me like a bridge too far.... Whistle
At least tried to make your Défenseur as close as possible a Keswick Green one Laughing Thumbs Up
Glad on my Suisse Romande SVX, Land Rover Switzerland did not put an A-bar reading DÉFENSEUR, but just left the original DEFENDER imprint Thumbs Up You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
