Just had a look on e-bay as it was mentioned and out of curiosity and something caught my eye. 'Froment' a fellow site member reported the theft of his bonnet and seats a little time ago. Well, whilst not wishing to cast any aspertions or finger point at all there is an 'option' of having a Defender built to your requirements and colour on there.
Ironically they are also offered with a 'Puma bonnet option!' Wonder how much a Puma bonnet costs to buy? Can't be cheap, especially if they serve no purpose but looks. Do 2+2=4 or 5? I have absolutely no idea of the answer! Enough said I think! MUF sorry to hear of your impending loss. Hope there's an upturn for you again soon! I have Datatagged my motorcycle many moons ago and was wondering if anyone had considered Datatagging or Smartwatering certain parts of their Defender to deter thieves. I'm a little out of touch when it comes to the latest deterrants available but i'm sure someone will enlighten me!

Hi MUF,
Would you be willing to sell the expedition roof rack and possibly the Safari 5000 lights seperatly? I'm in Rossendale myself, just in Water near loveclough reservoir. Cheers, Joe. |

Does anyone know if I could fit a ladder the same as on MUF's to a Defender with rear lamp guards fitted? Looking for one of these ladders at the moment, but just struck me it may not fit if I fit my newly acquired lamp guards.......
Would rather not have the integral ladder/lamp guard in one if I can help it, as much prefer the look of this one. Mark 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |
