first of all, would any site sponsors offer a big group buy?
I'm in the process of purchasing some and the website i found offers group buys on all products, so i thought it might be worth a shot, don't want to tread on toes but i think a fair amount of us would have them in our defenders if we could get them at a better price... I'm personally looking at the Recaro Cross Sportster CS Reclining Seat ambla leather black / dinamica suede without the tip up base / heating / air bags, but if there's enough interest i can inquire into slightly different variations thoughts? |

To make this happen (if it's going to) in my opinion, you need to post up the prices.
Price of a single pair of seats and then the discounts you've been offered based on quantity. This would give us (the sponsors) the opportunity to try and better it (if we can) and give people an opportunity to show their interest based on actual figures |

FYI: @ the Harrogate show one of the site sponsors was selling the seats at £825 and I gather someone on here got a better deal than that last thing on Sunday afternoon of the show.

But that was only a left seat and if you wanted the other for a matching pair then it would be at the retail price. Or so I was told from the guys selling them. Would have bought a set otherwise. Still, if we can get a pair of proper LR sets then I am interested. |

My mate has these in his Defender. The side bolster is too high on the base and his are trashed after 1 year cos with a Defender you really need to slide into the seat. The wear has split the leather and peeled the sponge off the frame too.
The non 'CS' would be a better idea 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

We often get asked to repair that high sided squab style of seat in Defenders for that very reason.
The Genuine SVX seats have a flat seat base to stop that happening, the CS seats and SVX 'copies' are great to look at but not very practical |
