LOW FUEL LEVEL INDICATION AND STRATEGY OF OPERATION IF DRAIN
From workshop manuals ... (thanks dgardel !)

The strategy in case of drainage is used to prime the fuel system at the required level.
Ensure that the cockpit turbulence always contains the least amount of fuel required.
The group means activates the amber light of the low fuel level (next to the level of fuel)
when the tank contains 15%. The fuel level indicator shows "empty" when the tank contains
only 11%.
When the tank contains only four liters, the strategy of Capture operation under conditions of drainage. The
no ignition is turned on for about 1.6 km. After this distance, the engine turns off. The engine can be
restarted in the way of not turning on and will continue to operate for about 1.6 kilometers a second before it goes out
time. This condition can be repeated until the light inlet of the fuel in the tank is not
discovery and cause deprivation of fuel and non-priming. Not recommended to restart after
drainage. Rolling Eyes

I can not understand but there are still many liters when you start the strategy of the 1.6 km .... Vale
